Are you as excited as we are about seeing the New Orleans premiere of Handmade Nation, the documentary about our own indie craft community nationwide? To see why we're so stoked, check out the trailer of the film below:
We hope you'll join us, along with director Faythe Levine for the free public film screening & craft marketplace, graciously presented by the Irma Thomas Center for W.I.S.E. (Women In Search of Excellence) Women at Delgado Community College.
It all happens Friday, September 18th, 2009 from 6-9pm at Delgado’s Community College, City Park campus, on the second floor of the Delgado Student Life Center. (That's at the back part of Delgado’s City Park campus, off Navarre Avenue. It's Building 23 on this map.) Ample free parking will also be available in the nearby parking lot off Navarre Avenue by the former WYES TV studio.
Admission is FREE so make plans for next Friday evening to join us! You can RSVP on Facebook (where you should totally become our fan if you're not already!).

"New Orleans Craft Mafia" has been included in this weeks A Sunday Drive. I hope this helps to attract even more new visitors here.
