art by mags! Is Coming Back Home

Yes, you read that right. art by mags! will finally be returning full-time to New Orleans this July, after almost three years of living in Louisville, KY post-Katrina. I am completely over-the-moon about this news, and I can't wait to be back in action with my Craft Mafia cohorts. You can read more about the impending move via my blog on my website.

In the mean time, I'll be an art-and-craft-making fool between now and then, in order to raise the funds necessary to finance our big move. My first effort in that direction was to FINALLY make a screen for my "Rise Up New Orleans" stencil design which I created more than two years ago. It's been a long time coming! Right now I have a limited run of one-of-a-kind t-shirts and a few other assorted items up in my Etsy shop with this design on it. Take a look and see if something there suits you!


Also, I just in the past week created a stencil design in support of Barack Obama for President. You can read all about my obsession in doing so on my blog, but here's a picture, to the left, of what it looks like. I'm going to be making spray-paint stencil prints of it (as pictured) and possibly t-shirts down the line, with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to the Obama campaign.
